Arraigado en el Mapa «Waves» de la práctica de los 5Ritmos, con exploraciones en vivo, interactivas y vivas, en un contenedor conectado a tierra, y enfocadas en las perspectivas del Teatro Ritual de 5Ritmos, Lorca e Irene invocarán el principio de esta práctica dinámica: «Si pones la psique en movimiento, sanará. sí misma.».
El movimiento es tanto la medicina como la metáfora. Poniendo tu brújula para lo impredecible, ven y prepárate para la fascinación individual y colectiva, la unidad radical y la gracia vanguardista.
Este taller contará como 5 días de horas «electives» para el camino de formación de profesores de 5Ritmos.
El ala de 5Ritmos de Teatro ritual – Live Wire – expande la imaginación a través de la curiosidad, la respiración, el gesto físico y el espacio. Es arte escénico en estado puro enraizado en lo real.

Directora y Facilitadora: Lorca Simons se dedica a la creación de teatro físico que es a la vez interactivo y transformador. ¡El 2024 es el 9o año que trae 5Ritmos Teatro – Live Wire – a España!
Un poco sobre ella:
Nació y creció en Texas. Se crió en la compañía de teatro experimental Hip Pocket de su padre. Se graduó en el conservatorio de teatro de la Escuela de Artes de la Universidad de Carolina del Norte. Con formación en teatro experimental y tradicional. Ha trabajado en producciones en la ciudad de Nueva York desde Off Broadway hasta la periferia, así como en televisión y cine.
Lorca siguió sus instintos a la vibración de dirección única conocida como Gabrielle Roth con quien floreció una colaboración creativa de 19 años. Lorca estudió y se formó con Gabrielle desde mediados de los 90 y fue cofundadora y codirectora de 5RT, el ala de teatro experimental del mundo 5Rhythms (Teatro 5Ritmos). Un lugar en el que ha entrado con sus pies texanos expansivos, primero colaborando en numerosas producciones originales, talleres y exploraciones teatrales rituales.
Es facilitadora certificada de 5Ritmos y crea teatro internacionalmente a través de una serie de laboratorios de teatro rituales LIVE WIRE: Breath in Motion, Roots, Electric Landscapes, Silhouette and Soul Threading. Más recientemente, ha realizado un taller y ha desarrollado una pieza original de teatro titulada «Love Letters to a Raven» en HPT en Texas, verano de 2019 y llevó el espectáculo al Teatro Cherry Lane en la ciudad de Nueva York, en mayo de 2020.
Está comprometida a esparcir las semillas de este proceso transformador «devolviéndose a la naturaleza artística del cuerpo, esculpiendo el espíritu en forma, el alma en la historia, bailando la mente en el viento y rastreando el corazón a casa».
Productora, traductora y facilitadora: Irene H. Sánchez es española, profesora internacional certificada de 5Ritmos para impartir Nivel Waves y Nivel Heartbeat. Lleva colaborando con Lorca Simons en el ala «Live Wire» de 5Ritmos Teatro 9 años. Le apasionan los grupos, la danza y los rituales. Es Co-Directora del Centro Redes Murcia (terapia, cuerpo y formación) y Terapeuta Psico-Corporal Sistémica (con formación acreditada en Terapia Familiar Sistémica y Procesos de Duelo). Tiene más de 10 años de experiencia organizando, impartiendo y traduciendo sesiones, talleres y retiros en diversos rincones del mundo. Asistente: Gina Espinosa. Es actriz, bailarina y profesora acreditada de 5Ritmos para el Nivel Waves. Hace 12 años el Mapa diseñado por Gabrielle Roth se cruzó en su camino y ya no pudo separarse de la práctica. Vivió y estudió en NYC y Londres y se graduó en 2021 cómo profesora. Le encanta profundizar en el mapa de los Ritmos y sostener un espacio íntimo y seguro para explorar el movimiento, la expresión y la conexión con uno mismo y con el grupo. Ofrece grupos regulares en Barcelona, Sant Cugat y visita a menudo Valencia y Londres. Rooted in the “Waves” Map of the 5Rhythms practice, with fresh, interactive, living explorations, in a grounded container, and focused on the perspectives of the 5Rhythms Ritual Theater, Lorca and Irene will invoke the principle of this practice dynamic: «If you put the psyche in motion, it will heal itself.»
Movement is both medicine and metaphor. Setting your compass for the unpredictable, come and prepare for individual and collective fascination, radical unity and avant-garde grace.
This workshop will count as 5 days of “elective” hours for the 5Rhythms teacher´s training path.
The 5Rhythms wing of Ritual Theater – Live Wire – expands the imagination through curiosity, breathing, physical gesture and space. It is performance art in its purest form rooted in raw.
The team:
Directing and Facilitating: Lorca Simons. She is a certified 5Rhythms® facilitator dedicated to the creation of physical theatre that is both interactive and transformative.
She was born and raised in Texas where she grew up in her father’s experimental theatre company Hip Pocket Theatre. As Producing Artistic Director she has been involved in the creation of original works for 47 years. A graduate of The University of North Carolina School of the Arts theatre conservatory. Educated in both experimental and traditional theatre. She has blazed through productions in New York City from Off Broadway to fringe, as well as television and film.
Lorca followed her instincts to the unique directing vibration known as Gabrielle Roth and a 19 year creative collaboration bloomed. She studied and trained with Gabrielle from the mid-90’s and was a co-founder and a co-director of 5RT, the experimental theatre wing of the 5Rhythms world, a place she stepped into with her expansive Texan feet, collaborating on numerous original productions and international workshops. In response to Gabrielle Roth’s investigation into what it means to be an authentic human being Lorca created Live Wire 5Rhythms Theatre which is dedicated to the creation of physical theater that is both interactive and transformative. Live Wire labs: Breath in Motion, Roots, Electric Landscapes, Silhouette, Wing Span, Soul Threading, On The Verge and Soul Revival are rooted in a visionary and rigorous technique for people to become true “athletes of the heart» exploring and investigating the depths of the human spirit.
Lorca also leads private 1:1 sessions in the zoom wing. 2021 marked the beginning of Live Wire: Listening Faces, a series of labs designed for the zoom container in collaboration with 8 international artists.
She is committed to scattering the seeds of this transformative process.
Producing, translating and facilitating: Irene H. Sánchez. She is an international 5Rythms®️ Waves & Heartbeat teacher. She is Spanish, and passionate about groups, dance and rituals. She has been co-llaborating with Lorca Simons in the 5R «Live Wire» Theatre wing for over 8 years. She is Co-Director of the Redes Murcia Center (psycho-therapy, body and training) and Systemic Psycho-Body Therapist (with accredited training in Systemic Family Therapy and Grief Process). She has been practicing 5Rhythms since 2009, organizing and translating workshops, classes and retreats since 2011 and teaching in Murcia (Spain) and various corners of the world since 2014. In addition, she is a Sociologist and Master in Human Resources and a curious and restless explorer of the world of the arts, the body, music, human groups and organizations and therapy. Assisting: Gina Espinosa. She is an actress, dancer and accredited Waves 5Rhythms teache. 12 years ago the Map designed by Gabrielle Roth crossed her path and she could no longer be separated from the practice. She lived and studied in NYC and London and graduated in 2021 as a teacher. She loves to delve deeper into the map of Rhythms and hold an intimate, safe space to explore movement, expression, and connection with oneself and the group. He offers regular classes and workshops in Barcelona and Sant Cugat and often visits Valencia and London.
