El espíritu puede estar dispuesto, pero la carne y la voz a veces están atoradas. Sin embargo, el espíritu anhela romper el silencio y hablar desde el lugar más profundo dentro de nosotros. ¿Qué palabras expresan tu estado actual de ser? ¿Cómo se mueve la voz dentro de las formas del cuerpo? ¿Cómo respiran esas formas físicas?
En este taller crearemos un escenario para que el espíritu interno se manifieste. Teatral. Articular. Un lenguaje incorporado que expande nuestro potencial creativo y abre la puerta de esas voces internas, articulando todo lo que nuestros cuerpos tienen para ofrecer.

Live wire es un theatre lab, una base experimental dinámica, cruda y energética donde todo es posible. En el laboratorio iluminamos el lenguaje, destapamos el gesto y liberamos la mente a través de nuestra investigación teatral. Desbloqueamos las historias que nuestros cuerpos anhelan contar, articulamos los hilos conductores de tu vida.
Live wire es un enchufe a la acción creativa, una oportunidad de despertar y afilar esos lugares en nosotros que necesitan re-alinearse o re-conectarse a lo que es más original y verdadero. Contactar con la naturaleza artística de nuestra práctica tiene el potencial de llevar nuestra vulnerabilidad, visión, consciencia y danza hacia nuevas profundidades.
Desde este lugar en el que reside la verdad, el ritual brota hacia la acción auténtica y todo es posible.

Lorca Simons se dedica a la creación de teatro físico que es a la vez interactivo y transformador. Nació y creció en Texas. Se crió en la compañía de teatro experimental Hip Pocket de su padre. Se graduó en el conservatorio de teatro de la Escuela de Artes de la Universidad de Carolina del Norte. Con formación en teatro experimental y tradicional. Ha trabajado en producciones en la ciudad de Nueva York desde Off Broadway hasta la periferia, así como en televisión y cine.
Lorca siguió sus instintos a la vibración de dirección única conocida como Gabrielle Roth con quien floreció una colaboración creativa de 19 años. Lorca estudió y se formó con Gabrielle desde mediados de los 90 y fue cofundadora y codirectora de 5RT, el ala de teatro experimental del mundo 5Rhythms (Teatro 5Ritmos). Un lugar en el que ha entrado con sus pies texanos expansivos, primero colaborando en numerosas producciones originales, talleres y exploraciones teatrales rituales.
Lorca, es facilitadora certificada de 5Rhythms y crea teatro internacionalmente a través de una serie de laboratorios de teatro rituales LIVE WIRE: Breath in Motion, Roots, Electric Landscapes, Silhouette and Soul Threading.
Más recientemente, Lorca ha realizado un taller y ha desarrollado una pieza original de teatro titulada «Love Letters to a Raven» en HPT en Texas, verano de 2019 y llevará el espectáculo al Teatro Cherry Lane en la ciudad de Nueva York, en mayo de 2020.
Lorca se compromete a esparcir las semillas de este proceso transformador «devolviéndose a la naturaleza artística del cuerpo, esculpiendo el espíritu en forma, el alma en la historia, bailando la mente en el viento y rastreando el corazón en casa». www.lorcasimons.com
Irene Hernández Sánchez es española, profesora internacional certificada de 5Ritmos para impartir Nivel Waves y Nivel Heartbeat. Le apasionan los grupos, la danza y los rituales. Es Co-Directora del Centro Redes Murcia (terapia, cuerpo y formación) y Terapeuta Psico-Corporal Sistémica (con formación acreditada en Terapia Familiar Sistémica y Procesos de Duelo). Tiene años de experiencia organizando, impartiendo y traduciendo sesiones, talleres y retiros en diversos rincones del mundo. Además es Socióloga y Máster en Recursos Humanos. www.irene5ritmos.com

The spirit may be willing but the flesh and voice are sometimes tongue-tied. Yet the spirit longs to break the silence and speak from the deepest Live Wire place within us.
What words express your current state of being? How does the voice move within the shapes of the body? How do those physical shapes breathe?
In this workshop we will create a stage for the spirit within to manifest. Theatrical. Articulate. An embodied language that expands our creative potential and opens the door of those voices within, articulating all our bodies have to offer.

Live Wire is a theatre lab, a dynamic, raw, energetic experimental base where anything is possible.
In the laboratory we illuminate language, uncover gesture and free the mind through our theatrical investigation. We unlock the stories our bodies are longing to tell, articulating the threads of your life.
Live Wire is a plug into creative action, an opportunity to reawakening and sharpen those places in ourselves that need realigning or perhaps rewiring back to what’s most original and true. Getting in touch with the artistic nature of our practice has the potential to take our vulnerability, vision, awareness and dance to new depths.
From this place of truth ritual springs into authentic action and anything is possible.

Elective workshops combine the 5Rhythms practice with other disciplines. These workshops hold true to the 5Rhythms Maps and weave in deep investigations that compliment the teachings. Lorca Simons is dedicated to the creation of physical theatre that is both interactive and transformative. She was born and raised in Texas where she grew up in her father’s experimental theatre company Hip Pocket. A graduate of The University of North Carolina School of the Arts theatre conservatory. Educated in both experimental and traditional theatre. She has blazed through productions in New York City from Off Broadway to fringe, as well as television and film.
Lorca followed her instincts to the unique directing vibration known as Gabrielle Roth and a 19 year creative collaboration bloomed. Lorca studied and trained with Gabrielle from the mid-90’s and was a co-founder and a co-director of 5RT, the experimental theatre wing of the 5Rhythms world (5Rhythms Theatre). A place she has stepped into with her expansive Texan feet first collaborating on numerous original productions, workshops, and ritual theatre explorations.
A certified 5Rhythms facilitator Lorca actively creates theatre internationally through a series of LIVE WIRE Ritual Theatre Labs: Breath in Motion, Roots, Electric Landscapes, Silhouette and Soul Threading.
Most recently Lorca has workshopped and further developed an original piece of theatre titled “Love Letters to a Raven” at HPT in Texas summer 2019 and will be taking the show to The Cherry Lane Theatre in New York City, May 2020.

Irene Hernández Sánchez is Spanish, certified as a 5R Waves and Heartbeat teacher. Passionate about groups, dance and rituals as tools for transformation, Irene is Co-Director of Centro Redes Murcia (Therapy, Embodiment and Training) and Body-Mind Systemic Therapist. She brings years of experience organizing, teaching and translating sessions, workshops and retreats in different corners of the world.
