Escuchar es un vehículo para la conexión verdadera y sentirse conectada/o es la fuente de toda sanación. ¿Cómo reinventamos la conexión cuando nos encontramos inesperadamente al borde de lo desconocido? Aislados en realidades que se extienden por paisajes de nuestra propia piel, preguntándonos cómo empezar de nuevo.
En estos espacios de en medio, tenemos una oportunidad única para la reinvención completa de la conexión. Escuchando más profundamente que nunca, unificando el campo y volviendo para siempre al poder del conjunto donde el espíritu de la creatividad respira en el ritmo de la presencia. “Live Wire” es una investigación del alma a través del cuerpo donde evocamos una corriente de forma eléctrica que cambia la imprevisibilidad, que es a la vez espontánea y misteriosa. Únase a nosotros en la sala Zoom mientras creamos una experiencia alimentada por las muchas almas hambrientas de una parte íntima de lo posible.
Siguiendo nuestros hilos conectivos volvemos de frente, conectándonos al paisaje poético en la raíz y el corazón de nuestra práctica de 5Ritmos.

Lorca Simons se dedica a la creación de teatro físico que es a la vez interactivo y transformador. Nació y creció en Texas. Se crió en la compañía de teatro experimental Hip Pocket de su padre. Se graduó en el conservatorio de teatro de la Escuela de Artes de la Universidad de Carolina del Norte. Con formación en teatro experimental y tradicional. Ha trabajado en producciones en la ciudad de Nueva York desde Off Broadway hasta la periferia, así como en televisión y cine.
Lorca siguió sus instintos a la vibración de dirección única conocida como Gabrielle Roth con quien floreció una colaboración creativa de 19 años. Lorca estudió y se formó con Gabrielle desde mediados de los 90 y fue cofundadora y codirectora de 5RT, el ala de teatro experimental del mundo 5Rhythms (Teatro 5Ritmos). Un lugar en el que ha entrado con sus pies texanos expansivos, primero colaborando en numerosas producciones originales, talleres y exploraciones teatrales rituales.
Lorca, es facilitadora certificada de 5Rhythms y crea teatro internacionalmente a través de una serie de laboratorios de teatro rituales LIVE WIRE: Breath in Motion, Roots, Electric Landscapes, Silhouette and Soul Threading.
En el verano del 2019, realizó un taller y desarrolló una pieza original de teatro titulada «Love Letters to a Raven» (dedicada a Gabrielle Roth y a su padre Johnny Simons) en HPT en Texas, llevará el espectáculo al Teatro Cherry Lane en la ciudad de Nueva York.
En la sala Zoom Lorca ofrece sesiones íntimas 1: 1 On-Line; Investigaciones poéticas profundamente hiladas desde su alma, entretejiendo historias, formas y aliento.
Este año marca el comienzo de una serie de investigaciones de “Live Wire” Lab en línea titulada “Listening Faces”: Cradling Light, Resilience, Hot Box, Gather, & Whispers of Silver, con colaboraciones de profesores y artistas internacionales.

Le apasionan los grupos, la danza y los rituales. Es Co-Directora del Centro Redes Murcia (terapia, cuerpo y formación) y Terapeuta Psico-Corporal Sistémica (con formación acreditada en Terapia Familiar Sistémica y Procesos de Duelo).

Lorca Simons is dedicated to the creation of physical theatre that is both interactive and transformative. She was born and raised in Texas where she grew up in her father’s experimental theatre company Hip Pocket Theatre. She is now the producing artistic director of the company. A graduate of The University of North Carolina School of the Arts theatre conservatory. Educated in both experimental and traditional theatre. In New York City she blazed through productions from Off Broadway to fringe, television and film.
Lorca followed her instincts to the unique directing vibration known as Gabrielle Roth and a 19 year creative collaboration bloomed. Lorca studied and trained with Gabrielle from the mid-90’s and became co-founder and co-director of 5RT, the experimental theatre wing of the 5Rhythms world collaborating on numerous original productions, workshops, and ritual theatre explorations.
